Summary
The customer needed help with picture hanging: 11 framed prints and one heavy 800 x 800mm round mirror, spread across plasterboard and concrete block walls in St Albans, Christchurch. Key requirements were clear — use a stud finder to locate strong fixing points, fit correct anchors for plasterboard and masonry, and make sure frames hung straight and well aligned. The concrete block walls and uneven frame fixtures were noted as the main challenges. The job attracted 2 offers, and the customer accepted a selected offer of $160. The installer used a stud finder, masonry drill bits and appropriate anchors, and suggested wiring or adjusted fixtures where frames were misaligned. The heavy mirror on the concrete block was secured with masonry fixings and rear brackets, and all frames were levelled and spaced as decided during on-site measuring. The customer left a positive 5‑star review, praising efficiency, proper equipment and a fair price.

Ejaj was amazing and I will be referring him to everyone I know and he was a very fair price compared to others! He completed the very difficult task of hanging 11 med/large paintings + one heavy big mirror superbly - he was efficient, he had all the equipment / drills / hanging attachments for the tricky concrete blocks and he also improvised where needed. He was also very kind and patient - it took about an hour for me to show exactly the best locations to hang the paintings and mirror and for us to measure them up (my Mum was supposed to help me but got called away so Ejaj stepped up and help me with the tricky task of deciding heights and locations after I'd been schooling up on the internet for ages .... it really helped to have someone that had experience as a sound board and to hold all the paintings whilst locking in the exact dimensions and locations. Thanks Ejaj! I'll definitely be using him again and absolutely recommend him to anyone needed a very tidy job as I was fussy an

Hang 11 framed pictures & 1 heavy round mirror (on newly painted concrete block + normal plasterboard walls) Job likely suitable for someone that has hung multiple frames / mirrors prior. Description: I need help securely mounting printed artwork (x11) and a mirror (x1) across different rooms: > Mirror: 1 round mirror, 800 x 800mm, quite heavy, with rear brackets for mounting (on concrete block wall). > Pictures: 11 in total, (unfortunately cheap) Kmart frames with fixtures at the back. I’m concerned some fixtures aren’t punched in evenly, so want to make sure they’re hung straight and not wonky so may have to consider putting on wire? Not sure - you can advise. Breakdown: > 2 x hallway (A2 frames) – plasterboard/wallpaper > 2 x bathroom (A2 frames) – plasterboard/paint > 2 x bedroom (1 x A1 frame + 1 x poster-size frame) – poster-size frame is on a concrete wall > 5 x lounge/kitchen (A1 frames) – 3 of these are on a concrete block wall, 2 on plasterboard Wall types: > Some are plasterboard/paint/wallpaper (easy drill) > 4 frames + the round mirror (x1) are to be on concrete block walls (harder drill, need masonry fixings). What I need: > Correct anchors/fixings for plasterboard and concrete block and frames > Help making sure frames hang straight and aligned > Secure mounting for heavy round mirror Location: Christchurch St Albans (Near Pap Rd / Bealey Ave - Central with parking) Timing: Flexible (ideally within the next 4-5 days) Budget: Open to offers – happy to pay fairly for someone with the right tools and experience. Thanks so much :-)
